Frequently asked questions about ordering from Champion Chisel Works:

How will you use my email address?

Champion Chisel Works will use your email address to send order confirmations, invoices and any other communication concerning your order.  If you choose to setup an account, your email address is also your User ID to log in to your account to check order status and history.  We will not sell or share your email address with any other parties.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, you will receive an order confirmation via email within 24 hours of placing the order.  If you do not receive one, check your spam or junk mail folder.  You may also call us toll free at 800-239-1434 from 7:00am - 4:00pm CST or email sales@championchisel.com.

How can I check the status of an order I placed?

Login to your account using the Your Account link on the top right of the screen.  Login information is the email address and password you set up during checkout.  Use Your Account to view orders, invoices and tracking numbers and more information.  Please note that if you check out as a Guest and do not create an account, there is no way for you to login to check the status of an order or view history.

Where does my order ship from?

The majority of orders are shipped from Rock Falls, IL.  

When will my order ship?

In stock items usually ship within two business days.  Drill Bit orders require an additional 2-4 days of processing.  Items listed as Out of Stock may take up to 30 days depending on the item.

Do you ship to customers outside of the USA?

Yes, we ship to many international locations.  However, shipping charges listed at checkout are only valid for the USA & Canada.  If you would like to place an order for a location other than USA or Canada please contact us.  Please note that all international shipments - including Canada - may be subject to additional import taxes & customs fees that will be charged when a shipment crosses a border.  These charges will be collected by UPS (or your designated broker) and will be separate from the shipping charges invoiced by Champion Chisel at the time of sale.  Shipping charges listed at checkout DO NOT include customs fees or import taxes - they only cover the freight cost.

Do you offer shipping options other than Ground?

Ground is our preferred method.  If you need an order faster we can ship Next Day, Two Day and Three Day. During the checkout process you can view rates and select the appropriate shipping method for your order. Orders that are shipping outside of the continental US may be subject to a higher shipping rate than listed at check out.  Please see our Freight Policy for more information.  Transit times are calculated using business days - UPS does not deliver on the weekend or include Saturday, Sunday or holidays when determining delivery dates. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa & American Express.

How do I set up an account online?

When you begin the checkout process there is the option to Create User Account right after you enter your email address.  Creating an account will allow you to track your orders and shipments after you submit your first order.   If you are a current customer who has never ordered online, please call Brandi at 800-239-4134 to have an online account created for you.  During the checkout process, you can choose not to create an account and checkout as a guest.  However, using the guest option will not allow you to log back in to your account to check the status of your order.

 

How do I know which chisel will fit my hammer?

Please use our Chisel Lookup by Hammer Model located on the top left of our website.  You may also the hammer manufacturer links at the bottom of our website for a listing of hammer models and the corresponding Champion Chisel shanks.  If you do not see your hammer model listed please contact us through the website or call toll free 800-239-1434.

How do I return an item?

If the item you ordered does not fit your hammer, please call us at 800-239-1434 to start the return process.  As noted in our Terms & Conditions, returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee and all shipping charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.  Please be sure you are purchasing the right tool for your hammer.  If you have any questions on the correct chisel, do not hesitate to call Champion Chisel Works for assistance.

Do you sell chisels to fit Harbor Freight hammers?

We sell chisels for some of the hammers sold by Harbor Freight.  You can use the Chisel Lookup By Hammer on the top left to find your model, or click here for a full listing of Harbor Freight models we sell chisels for.

Will the Hilti 805/905 Style chisels fit my hammer?  The shank looks different from the chisels I bought from Hilti.

The Champion Chisel 7/8” Hex Demo shank fits the Hilti 805/905/1000/1500 hammers even though the shank design looks different.  These chisels were custom designed by Champion Chisel Works to work in the Hilti 805/905/1000/1500 hammers.  They are one of our top sellers due to the low cost and high quality.
